Assalaamu Alaykum and Ramadan Mubarak!

I hope you all are enjoying this blessed month and striving to get closer to Allāh through the acts of worship He has legislated. Already a third of the month has passed us. Sometimes we may find ourselves at this point, and realize that we've wasted our time by not increasing in acts of worship/good deeds and decreasing the sins that we do. If you haven't been striving so far this month, there is still an opportunity to finish strong in sha Allāh. In this post I have included a few resources that I hope will help you have a great Ramadan in sha Allāh, even if you haven't gotten a great start.

Tafseer Playlist

Linked above, you will find a playlist to videos on the tafseer of the Quran. Whilst the videos are in arabic, they are beneficial to those who are learning the language as well. You can also find tafseer videos in English from the channel that has the Ramadan Daily droplets linked below. This is the month of the Quran, so we should busy ourselves with reading it and pondering over its meanings. 

Charity

In this blessed month, we should try our best to increase in our good deeds, and charity is among that. Below are a few charities you can donate to in sha Allāh.   

Crisis Aid (various charitable causes and urgent appeals)

SPOT Project (a charity that works with orphans in Gambia, and they are currently fundraising to add a girls section)

Acts of Worship In Ramadan

The following are different acts of worship you can do:

• Praying the Sunnah prayers
• Giving charity
• Feeding the poor
• Providing Iftar to fasting people

I have linked a playlist to a series from Al Madrasatu Al Umariyyah, they are doing a series where everyday they release a video pertaining to Ramadan. Alhamdulillah I have found it very beneficial.
